     Detailed below is a brief description of the hotel and facilities on available.
     Situated just 16 km from Dalaman, Sarigerme boasts one of the best sandy beaches on Turkey's south-west coast as well as a scenic hinterland of extensive pine forests, so we have long wished to include the resort in our programme. We were therefore delighted to discover the recently opened Alinn Hotel, which boasts a superb range of facilities and activities, yet with just 108 rooms is of a rather more manageable size than some of the other luxury hotels along this coast. Children under 16 years of age are not accepted, creating a relaxing atmosphere for adults of all ages.
     The Alinn operates on an all-inclusive basis and offers excellent value-for-money considering all that is included in your holiday. As well as extensive hot and cold buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, afternoon snacks and cakes are offered at no extra cost, as are midnight snacks for those who have worked up a late appetite dancing in the hotel's own disco. Soft drinks, hot beverages and local alcoholic drinks are also included, whilst a selection of international brand spirits are offered at certain times. There is also the option to dine in the à la carte restaurant, subject to advance reservation.
     With so much temptation to overindulge in the hotel's food and drink offerings, it is good to know that there is ample opportunity to burn off those extra calories. As well as boasting a well-equipped gym, a tennis court and a fleet of mountain bikes, the hotel arranges a programme of optional activities from aerobics and water-polo to darts tournaments and beach volleyball.
     Those who prefer a more relaxing approach to their holiday will find an excellent spa and leisure centre with an indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, steam bath and Jacuzzi. The use of these facilities is also free to hotel guests, but naturally any spa and massage treatments attract an additional charge, payable locally.
     In addition to the indoor swimming pool, the Alinn boasts two outdoor pools – one for guests who enjoy taking part in some of the organised daytime activities, the other for those who prefer to relax in peace with a good book. Sunbeds with mattresses, umbrellas and towels are provided at both pools.
     Those who prefer swimming in the sea need not miss out on their complimentary drinks, for the Alinn has its own beach bar on Sarigerme's long, sandy beach, approximately 1 km from the hotel. A shuttle-bus service operates between the hotel and the beach on an hourly basis during the day, although the frequency may vary according to the season and the hotel's occupancy.
     With so much on offer, guests may find they spend little time in their rooms other than to sleep, but all are comfortably furnished and equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar (filled with complimentary soft drinks), satellite TV, and direct dial telephones. Each room has a modern en-suite bath or shower rooms with a hairdryer, and a balcony with views of the pool and gardens, the mountains or the sea.
